the interest was sparked when blitzwing was firing at bee in one of the early TFA episodes and bee was like “why don’t you chill out” and blitzwing was like “as you wish” and my brain was like “haha princess bride, i bet they’re secretly in love.” that idea got way out of control WAY too fast, and i googled the ship, and then i got flung into blitzbee hell almost immediately after
as for favorite authors/artists, lemme throw a list together bc holy shite, half of their stuff is plastered all over my desktops and shit
@pastelpaperplanes has made lots of glorious fanart for RoE, all of which is currently rotating as my desktop wallpapers, and all of their art is fuckin phenomenal tbh
@watermeloneverything / @watermelon-sketchnsketch has an incredible style, both traditional and digital, and i absolutely drool over their pieces, one of which is my PC lockscreen because g o d
@eronposts has a precious art style that i squeal like a child when i see, and a commission they did for me is going to be my phone wallpaper for eternity because it is glORIOUS
@lilpaopotato has a ridiculously adorable style and they’re also an absolute sweetheart, and i admire their ability to somehow make big bad blitzy the cutest little bean i ever did see
@galacticlowlife posts a lot more blitzwing than blitzbee, but i cant NOT shout them out because holy HELL their art is a massive inspiration and all of their pieces are 👌👌👌
@herzspalter doesn’t post transformers anymore (though their jojo art still makes me drool, they’re INSANELY talented) and their older blitzbee content is prime, if you haven’t seen it already
